The Sale is the brainchild of Portland, OR based singer/songwriters Bre Paletta and Justin Bennett, two independent thinkers who made a connection and started making beautiful music about the human experience.
“With poignant, piercing honesty and bittersweet reflection, the pair’s songs speak to the joy and pains of everyday life that can’t be captured in everyday expression. Guitars and voices intertwine like ribbon. Then add the rest of the band, a rotating cast of devoted friends, gifted artists and assets to the dynamic sound, whose nuance and excitement provide that extra kick in the pants: drummers Chris Lay and Joshua Corry, bass players Christopher Friesen and Michael Dougherty, multi-instrumentalist Todd Bayles, flute player Martin Carter, cellist Skip VonKuske, percussionist Joe Riso and guitarist Tanner Cundy.
